Fill in the Blank: l in the blank: I don’t know why _______ doesn’t just _______!
I don’t know why technology doesn’t just do laundry, folding, and unpacking a suitcase after a trip. Both are the bane of my existence.
What is your biggest non work-related accomplishment?
Long before public relations and marketing were in my worldview, I became an Eagle Scout during my senior year of high school. My fellow Boy Scouts, along with several family members and friends, came together to build a storage shed at the church where we had our weekly troop meetings. This was the first opportunity I had to manage a long-term project and lead others – two invaluable skills I still use on a daily basis.
If we looked in your podcast app, what would we find in your “Recently Listened To” list?
I fell in love with podcasts when I delivered pizza in college. Since then, I’ve been an avid listener to a couple classic podcasts like “This American Life,” “RadioLab,” “Heavyweight,” and “The Moth.” I’m also a big fan of fun tech podcasts like “Endless Thread” and “Reply All” [RIP 😭 ] and am a sucker for true crime limited series like “The Sunshine Place” and “Conviction.” I like several Barstool podcasts but tend to watch those on YouTube as they’re better enjoyed on a screen.
If you could force your teammates to do your favorite activity with you, what would it be?
I’m easy! I just want to take my team to happy hour. I work remotely, so I don’t get to see my beloved Carbon Crew too often, and I think catching up over a drink (or two…or…) and some good food would do it for me. I don’t think it would be much of a “force” knowing my team members, either!
Okay, now for the most important question. What animal do you think most closely matches your personality?
My stuffed animal growing up was a panda bear affectionately named “Pan-Bear”and I think pandas fit my personality well. Pandas are laid back just like me and are seen as symbols of grounding and stability, which I try to remember through my hectic days.

Fill in the Blank: l in the blank: I don’t know why _______ doesn’t just _______!
I don’t know why technology doesn’t just do my hair in the morning. The Atlanta humidity and my hair do not get along very well. You would think that after being born and raised here, they’d come to a truce at some point.

What is your biggest non work-related accomplishment?
When I was 18, my family adopted the sweetest Great Dane mix, Earl, who had never been shown any love at all. I spent so much time showering him with love and getting him to trust us, but, more importantly, to trust our sweet (but spoiled only child) Labrador, Elvis. My proudest accomplishment outside of work is definitely their relationship
If we looked in your podcast app, what would we find in your “Recently Listened To” list?
I don’t listen to a lot of podcasts (I’m more of a visual learner!) But, I am a big fan of Sarah Schauer and Brittany Broski’s podcast, Violating Community Guidelines (RIP,) and The Daily when I need to get a pulse on a topic quickly.
If you could force your teammates to do your favorite activity with you, what would it be?
We’d have a dinner party with a really specific theme. It would be amazing to have a Real Housewives-themed dinner party, where every member of the crew is assigned a character and a backstory, and we’d have a fake argument, end of season reunion style. Of course, in this scenario, I’m Andy Cohen.
Okay, now for the most important question. What animal do you think most closely matches your personality?
I’m very similar to a Capuchin monkey. They seem to love making people laugh, just like I do, and spend a lot of time swinging from branch to branch, just like a public relations gal spends most of the day pivoting from storyline to storyline.
