Favorite Quote- Change is never painful.  Only the resistance to change is.” – Buddha

Fill in the Blank: l in the blank: I don’t know why ____ doesn’t just _____ !

I don’t know why technology doesn’t just clean, dry, and fold my laundry all in one machine.  It’d be great if a robot could also put the clothes away when clean.

What is your biggest non work-related accomplishment?

I never thought of myself as a runner, but I am inspired by athletes of all kinds.  I used to love watching the Iron Man Triathlons on TV.  It gives me chills every time a finisher comes across the line and the announcer says, “Person’s Name, You are an Iron Man!”   No matter what happens in life, no one can take that significant, incredibly challenging mental and physical accomplishment away from them.  I felt the same way when I completed a full marathon in Honolulu, Hawaii (and raised over $5k for The Arthritis Foundation in honor of my Grandmother, Great Aunt, and my Mom who suffered with arthritis).  No matter what difficult challenge I’m facing, I can reflect back on finishing 26.2 miles and confidently say, “you can do hard things,” and know it to be true.

If we looked in your podcast app, what would we find in your “Recently Listened To” list?

I only listen to podcasts when I’m on long car trips alone, which is not very often as a wife and mom of two.  But, when my Mom was sick last year and I was driving back and forth to Savannah to be with her, I got hooked on the LA Times “Room 20”,  Tenderfoot TV’s “To Live & Die in L.A,” and Wondery’s “Dr. Death.”  I love to read books (especially under an umbrella on a beach or floating in a pool.  I recently enjoyed finishing “Demon Copperhead” by Barbara Kingsolver, while on vacation.

If you could force your teammates to do your favorite activity with you, what would it be?

Boating on the open blue water.  To me, nothing compares to the sunshine on your shoulders, salt air on your skin and the wind in your hair.

Okay, now for the most important question. What animal do you think most closely matches your personality?

I was leaning towards a Lion, because I was born in the summer, and my zodiac sign is a Leo.  I’m fiercely loyal and love my Pride.  But I asked my daughters this question and they said a Seal (of all things).  But, I couldn’t disagree with them after Googling the “personality traits of a seal.”  I love being in and near the ocean.  Seals are generally calm and patient when it comes to complicated and complex situations. They are full of enthusiasm and enjoy exploring the motivation and reasoning behind ideas. They have excellent imaginations and are often inspired by their values and beliefs.

Favorite Quote- “For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack.” – Rudyard Kipling

Fill in the Blank: l in the blank: I don’t know why ____ doesn’t just _____ !

I don’t know why Cyber technology doesn’t just do away with all of the bogus phone calls we all have to endure on a daily basis!

What is your biggest non work-related accomplishment?

Hearing my band on national radio. And there was that time when a song from my old band was placed in a  movie where the song was being played on the radio in the movie – talk about having a parallel universe experience!

If we looked in your podcast app, what would we find in your “Recently Listened To” list?

Not much for podcasts, but as far as books go, Recessional by David Mamot is currently in the hot seat.

If you could force your teammates to do your favorite activity with you, what would it be?

Fishing, hook, line and sinker!

Okay, now for the most important question. What animal do you think most closely matches your personality?

Given my name means wolf, I will go with that.
