Our Big Easy Expansion
With an Abita Beer in hand and lots of new friendly faces, Anna Ruth and I officially launched Alloy New Orleans in our new NOLA home, Launch Pad.
Fifteen months ago, Anna Ruth started Alloy in her dining room turned office at her home in Atlanta, GA with the vision of becoming the go-to provider for branding and PR services among the Southeast’s most cutting-edge companies. With her lofty goals, talent and tenacity, Anna Ruth has made significant strides since that day with over 200 million media impressions, a client roster representing nearly all sectors within the technology industry, and now, a New Orleans office.
I’m very proud and excited to join the amazing culture and team that Anna Ruth has built as I lead the expansion into a city that is as unique as the innovative clients Alloy represents. The parallel worlds of the historic and beautiful city coupled with an emerging technology hub are something that you probably will not experience anywhere else in the country. New Orleans has recently been dubbed an attractive hub for tech companies. It is currently the 19th highest density of tech startups and its information technology jobs are up 28%!
Moving into Launch Pad was an integral part of our expansion since this office, similar to our headquarters in Atlanta Tech Village, is a collaborative co-working space that creates an environment that champions innovation that the entrepreneurial spirit.
I am eager to bring Alloy’s vision, culture and value into the city. To all those who helped or attended our launch happy hour – a very special thank you.
Now all that’s left to do, as they say in New Orleans, “Lassiez les bons temps rouler!”
