1. How was your first day of work at Alloy?

After weeks of wrestling with the idea of starting my own agency, I woke up on August 1, 2012, sat down at my kitchen table and created a logo, a business pipeline, a 90-day budget and a marketing deck. That was my first day of work at Alloy. I’ll never forget it.

2. What song best describes your work ethic?

“I wanna be a billionaire” by Bruno Mars

3. Describe your ultimate sandwich.

Something with melted gouda, chutney, turkey and local veggies.

4 . Which two celebrities (dead or alive) would you pick to be your parents?

Jimmy Fallon and Oprah. Can you imagine what those family dinners would be like?

5. What is your biggest non work-related achievement?

Raising the most adorable and fun dog you’ve ever petted.

6. What is your biggest pet peeve?

When melted cheese sticks to the sandwich wrapper. #firstworldproblems

7. Describe yourself in three words.

Tenacious. Thoughtful. Workaholic.

8. Your life would be meaningless without…

Memories, my dog and my volunteer work.

9. Favorite board game?

Cards Against Humanity. It always makes me laugh so hard I cry.

10. Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. And no, I never went to Space Camp.

11. Favorite thing about the tech industry?

Its people. Behind every technology advancement is a brilliant, entrepreneurial and futuristic mind. Getting to work with these innovators is so inspiring and motivating. You won’t find these types of folks in any other industry.

12. If you could bring one piece of technology to a remote island, which would it be?

My iPhone. Gotta tweet pictures of my adventures!

13. If you were a Star Wars character, which would you be?

I’ve never seen Star Wars or Star Trek. However, I did dress up as Princess Leia once and march in the DragonCon parade. It was absolutely hilarious.

14. What would I find in your refrigerator right now?

Wine, shredded cheese, eggs, condiments, dog food and Trader Joe’s chicken salad. Oh, and chocolate covered banana slices in the freezer.   Pathetic, huh?

15. How would you explain what the Internet is to your 5-year-old nephew in one sentence?

An information rocketship that lets you hop on and go somewhere new anytime you want.
