Discover how Alloy built a digital platform to boost awareness, drive engagement and power fundraising for a beloved Atlanta natural space's restoration.

The Cumberland Community Improvement District (CCID) is a national model for public-private collaboration, representing more than 190 commercial property owners who reinvest through additional taxes to improve connectivity, access and vibrancy across the Cumberland area. With a $26.6 billion annual economic impact, the district is home to major organizations including The Atlanta Braves, The Home Depot and Comcast.

One of CCID’s most significant initiatives to date, New Day Palisades, focuses on restoring the Palisades Land Unit at Paces Mill, a highly visited destination along the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. As the project moved into phased development, CCID needed a modern, engaging digital presence to inform the community, communicate progress and support donations and grant funding.

Alloy partnered with CCID to creatively overhaul and amplify an existing landing page into a comprehensive website that could evolve alongside the restoration — serving as a central hub for storytelling, updates and engagement throughout the life of the project.

How we helped

Designed for phased progress

Transforming a single-page site into a digital hub for restoration updates and fundraising

New Day Palisades began with a simple landing page intended to introduce the restoration effort. As the project evolved into a multi-year, multi-phase initiative, CCID needed a website that could do more — support ongoing communication, accommodate regular updates and serve as a reliable resource for the community.

Alloy reimagined the original page into a comprehensive website, intentionally structured to grow alongside the project. Content architecture and navigation were designed to support phased storytelling, making it easy to share progress updates, outline upcoming improvements and communicate the long-term vision.

The result is a flexible digital experience that supports both community engagement and fundraising as the restoration continues.

By designing a website built to evolve alongside a multi-phase restoration, Alloy delivered a digital foundation that supports ongoing communication, engagement and funding efforts.
