Alloy, an award-winning tech PR agency at the epicenter of the future of PR, today announced it promoted 45% of its workforce in 2020. In the second half of the year alone, the three-time PRNews Best Place to Work honoree announced five promotions, further validating the agency’s commitment to one of its most important stakeholders - its employees.

“We won’t be the only company to admit that 2020 has been full of ups and downs,” said Anna Ruth Williams, founder and CEO of Alloy. “Despite this year’s economic adversities, I couldn’t be prouder that we not only gave year-end bonuses and avoided furloughs, but we were also able to increase investment in our top performers. We wanted to make certain that those who exceeded expectations despite challenges were rewarded and recognized for their contributions.”

In the fourth quarter alone, the top tech agency promoted three employees:

  • Christina Dela Cruz was promoted to senior account director, FinTech practice group, where she will strategize and consult with high-tech companies at the epicenter of one of the world’s fastest-growing industries.

  • Patrick Taylor was promoted not once, but twice this year. In this last promotion, he received the title of digital marketing director. In this role he will assume greater responsibility in managing our inbound marketing and lead generation capabilities for our high-growth and enterprise tech clients.

  • Alexis Pastrana was promoted from account coordinator to digital content manager, as she continues to elevate the firm’s data-driven PR approach.

“From Alloy’s Spirited Ideals, to our Panorama Approach, every element of our brand is strategically crafted to align with our commitment to both clients and employees,” said Blair Broussard, Alloy’s chief operations and people officer. “As our motto says, we believe the best in each other. It’s why we invest so heavily in professional development - from generous stipends, to formalized mentorship and shadow programs, to our Alloy Academy - we strive to provide ample opportunities for career growth and expansion.”

Additional 2020 promotions include Cortney Williams’ promotion to senior account director, healthIT practice group; Patrick Christman’s promotion to senior account manager, cloud practice group; Jhaunae Cephas’ promotion to account coordinator; and Michelle Rand’s promotion to junior account coordinator from Edge intern.

“Not only did we grow our team roster and physical offices in 2020, but we’re also continuing to deepen our bench with true A-players. The caliber of talent we’re attracting and cultivating allows us to continue PRopelling What’s Possible for some of the world’s boldest technology brands as we enter the New Year,” said Broussard.

As the largest technology PR firm in the Southeast, Alloy is consistently named a Best Place to Work by New Orleans CityBusiness and Atlanta Business Chronicle. To learn more about Alloy’s culture and review all available career opportunities, visit https://alloycrew.com/work-for-us.
