An avid technologist, Roger has an undying interest in all things technology, which dates back as long as he can remember. He’s been active in the tech space since the early days of the computer technology revolution. He started gaming early on the Atari 2600, coding early on a Commodore 64 and a Tandy 286, and working in computer graphics early in Atlanta-based ASCII, ANSI and coding art groups.
Roger’s journey throughout his career has been wide-reaching, from working on mission-critical banking and project management software to rich internet application (RIA) development, and from mobile development both natively and with cross-platform stacks to the evolution of React and modern JavaScript frameworks including Next.js and Gatsby, in more recent years. Roger has worked on cutting-edge tech for a number of exciting brands including AMC Theatres, Microsoft, GM Financial, Home Shopping Network, and many more.
As Alloy’s Director of Technology, Roger oversees all technical aspects of our work from new website, platform and app builds to feature creation and evolution for our amazing clients. He keeps a pulse on technology platform changes and evolutions to ensure we’re always able to define and implement best-fit technical architectures and solutions.
Today Roger lives in Marietta, Ga. with his wife and son. He still enjoys gaming, coding, and computer graphics, and remains in pursuit of reaching a 1 million point score in Joust, the 1982 arcade classic.
