Chief People Officer

Jenni McDonough

(She/Her)

After graduating college with a communication arts and PR degree, Jenni joined an advertising agency. While the first leg of her career was focused on advertising, marketing and PR, it was the CFO of an Atlanta PR firm that recognized Jenni’s natural gravitation toward employee onboarding, training/development, and HR programming. And thus began an HR career that has spanned more than two decades and included some of the world’s largest creative shops.

Because of her experiences working with clients, Jenni understands first-hand what it takes to attract and retain creative and technical talent. She’s passionate about building safe, supportive and inspirational cultures necessary to produce groundbreaking work. Jenni believes agency employees are consultants-on-demand, and she loves helping them thrive.

As Alloy’s chief people officer, Jenni’s mission is to attract and retain top talent, drive innovation through strategic employee relations, and nurture our vibrant company culture. She brings over 20 years of progressive HR experience spanning performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, internal communications and more.

Prior to joining Alloy’s Uncommon Crew, Jenni served as the senior vice president, director of talent, for 22squared, Inc. for seven years. There, she managed organizational effectiveness and supported the executive team on agency initiatives with her knack for translating business goals into strategic HR and operational plans.

Her experience also includes four years as VP of HR for Engauge Marketing (acquired by Moxie/Publicis Groupe, NA). Jenni joined the agency when it was 200 employees, and managed all full-cycle HR as its workforce scaled to more than 525+ across five offices. Before Engauge, Jenni spent 11 years at MS&LGroup/Atlanta, a Publicis Groupe company, where she managed everything from benefits administration to recognition and rewards as its VP of HR.

Jenni finds purpose in serving others. She is a founding board member of Advertising for Change, Atlanta, and currently serves on the Flower Guild for St. Philips’ Cathedral, Buckhead/Atlanta. Previously, she served as a Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Troop Leader, committee member for Park Pride Atlanta, board member for the GA Transplant Foundation, and as a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, GA Chapter, Leadership Class.
