Today, public relations and integrated marketing firm Alloy celebrates its first year of business, a robust client roster and top media placements. From new product launches to assisting with industry trade shows, Alloy has helped startup, early stage and mature technology clients leverage media relations, social media and corporate messaging to grow their businesses.
“I am incredibly proud to celebrate Alloy's first anniversary,” said Anna Ruth Williams, founder and principal of the firm. “Halfway through Alloy's first year, we set out on an aggressive growth strategy, and I’m pleased that our client roster now represents nearly all sectors of the technology industry – from hardware to software to e-commerce to health IT. To support this growth, we’ve added talented team members and partners who bring well-rounded technical and creative expertise.”
Within one year, Alloy has distributed more than 40 press releases and secured more than 150 million media impressions on behalf of clients. These companies have been featured in multiple high-profile media outlets, including Forbes, CNN, Fast Company, Chicago Tribune and Mashable. In addition, on average Alloy has increased companies’ Twitter followings by 30 percent and LinkedIn followings by 40 percent in the past year.
“Working with industry leaders like Cellcontrol and innovative platforms like ShopVisible gives us the ability to do what we love,” says Williams. “Spring boarding off this year’s double digit growth, we hope to double the agency’s number of clients and staff in Alloy's second year of business.”
As a member of Atlanta Tech Village (ATV), the firm works alongside dozens of technology companies and entrepreneurs in a community designed to foster innovation. Alloy leverages its unique entrepreneurial spirit to help these fellow startups and support Atlanta’s technology community. For example, collaborative crowdfunding platform Uruut, and sports analytics provider Competitive Sports Analysis, are also members of ATV and benefit from both Alloy's office location and community resources.
