I was recently having breakfast with a friend of Alloy—a CMO for a technology company and someone I respect as a past client and innovative marketer. Being tech enthusiasts, we found ourselves discussing the rapid evolution of AI tools and how we each incorporate them into our technology strategy both professionally and personally. At Alloy, we’re exploring new ways to leverage AI tools within our methodology to enhance our brand identity and strategies.

Testing Alloy’s brand identity with AI tools

As the CEO of an agency, I’ve been experimenting with tools like Google Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT to analyze information, refine insights and frame strategies efficiently. However, I hadn’t yet explored Google NotebookLM—so when my friend demonstrated its podcast feature, I was curious to see what it thought of Alloy.

I gave Google NotebookLM only one source—our website—with no other instructions or data. In just minutes, it generated a podcast reflecting Alloy’s core values and the why behind what sets us apart.

Impressive, right?

Why storytelling matters in your technology strategy

This experience highlighted something essential: even with minimal input, Google NotebookLM captured Alloy’s brand identity and strategic intent. Our investment in content, UX, SEO, UI and technology infrastructure is paying off, clearly communicating who we are and how we want to be perceived. It was a rewarding validation of our branding efforts.

Curious about your own brand? Try running your website content through an AI tool and see if it aligns with your intended brand identity. If the results don’t match your brand vision, it might be time to revisit your messaging and content strategy, website flow, or even your overall technology approach.

Next steps to strengthen your brand identity

If you find that your brand identity isn’t coming through as strongly as you'd like, consider these steps:

  1. Optimize your content: ensure that your website copy is consistent with your brand guidelines and reflects your technology strategy.

  2. Leverage AI tools: Test how your brand is perceived through AI platforms like Google NotebookLM, ChatGPT, or Google Gemini. AI can provide a fresh perspective on how your brand appears to the digital world.

  3. Evaluate your technology infrastructure: Make sure your website’s UX/UI and SEO practices are aligned with your brand values to create a seamless, authentic experience for visitors.

Curating a strong brand identity is crucial for standing out in today’s competitive landscape, and aligning it with an agile technology strategy is key to success. And if you need support, Alloy is here to help you shape a brand identity and technology strategy that truly reflects your values and goals. Reach out to learn how we can help.
